As a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabrication Employee at Bayards Yacht Structures, you will work on the aluminium superstructure of luxury yachts – from impressive hull sections to refined finishing details. You will join a close knit team of skilled professionals, contributing to projects that earn admiration across the globe. Your main responsibilities include:
> Reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
> Preparing constructions and processing aluminium by sawing, drilling, bending, and fitting.
> Assembling and building aluminium structures, including occasional container structures.
> Installing various components and structural parts within the yacht superstructure.
> Performing tack welding and checking dimensional accuracy.
> Contributing ideas for process improvements and promoting safe work practices.
> Collaborating closely with colleagues from the welding, assembly, and production departments.
> You will report to the Foreman and Production Team Leader. In this team, clear communication, precision, and cooperation are the keys to achieving the perfect result.
Who are you?
> A vocational (MBO‑level or equivalent) qualification in a technical field such as metalwork, construction, or mechanical engineering.
> Several years of experience in sheet metal or fabrication work; experience with aluminium is an advantage.
> You work neatly, accurately, and with great attention to detail.
> You are independent, flexible, and a strong team player.
> You speak and understand Dutch and/or English.
> You are available full‑time
