June 14 was all about the festive opening of the youngest branch of 247TailorSteel. After months of preparations, the festive opening of our new production facility in Oud Gastel will take place. Customers, suppliers, contractors and other relations attended this milestone in the festively decorated Tube Hall.
More than 160 guests witnessed this special occasion. After coffee and cake, Plant Manager Eric Hengst warmly welcomed the group and announced the speeches of the Provincial Executive Martijn van Gruijthuijsen, Mayor Bernd Roks and CEO Carl Berlo. Subsequently, with the push of a button and lots of confetti, the largest location of 247TailorSteel was opened.
Visitors were given the opportunity to take a tour of the production halls, where they could become acquainted with our modern machinery. Finally, the guests received a souvenir, a set of Corten steel birds, consisting of sheet material manufactured in our own factory.
With the new production facility, 247TailorSteel’s machine park has grown to more than 50 laser cutting machines, 40 press brakes and twenty tube laser cutting machines. With a production area of 40,000 m², the factory is the company’s largest location. Initially, the site is equipped with five laser cutting machines, four press brakes, four tube laser cutting machines and two edge rounding machines. With the opening of this second Dutch branch, we can offer our customers in the South of the Netherlands and North of Belgium an even better service and faster delivery of our high-quality products.
