What does Cellro BV do?
Cellro BV is a Dutch manufacturer of robot loading systems for the machining industry. With a European network of mostly machine brand dealers who provide sales and service close to customers. Cellro is a knowledge-driven organization with a lot of attention for product and software development.
What dreams, wishes, ambitions do you have for the future?
Partly due to recent developments, Cellro sees an increasing demand for more local production. Close to home and yet competitive production is an important pillar in the future of the machining industry. Just like the need for intuitive use of software, organization and planning programs. As a result of which production runs more effectively, more streamlined and can be delivered with a higher quality standard.
What effect does the corona outbreak and the measures taken have on your organization and how do you deal with this?
Cellro sees COVID-19 reflected in, among other things, a decline in requests and greater efforts to successfully complete ongoing processes, which time was used to bundle, document and provide insight into knowledge that has been built up over 15 years of experience for the end user. So that the threshold for every machining company is as low as possible to start automating. This time has also been used to take the standardization of the product line to the next level, as well as to develop new functionalities.
What do you think of the setup of METAVAK in combination with Welding Week powered by NIL?
It is still uncertain what the exact set-up will look like, but Cellro appreciates the form of collaboration and consultation in order to arrive at a beautiful concept that is confident that despite challenging circumstances, much is possible to reach the industry.
What expectations do you have of this edition of METAVAK in combination with Welding Week powered by NIL?
After missing a number of trade fairs, Cellro expects METAVAK to be very well attended. A local trade fair with a diverse offer is a combination that strengthens each other for the Dutch market.
Why is participation in METAVAK i.c.m. Welding Week powered by NIL important for your company?
The Netherlands remains the home market, which, although it is not very large, forms an important basis for market and customer development. Trade fairs such as METAVAK are a great opportunity to talk to existing and future users.

What does Valk Welding do?
Valk Welding is a company specialized in providing flexible automation solutions for welding technology. We are a Dutch family company and have been around for almost 60 years. Valk Welding now has 4 locations in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark and France, of which the Dutch is the main and largest location. A total of 160 people work at Valk Welding, spread over the various locations.
Our customers are companies in the metal industry that can vary from a small family business to a globally operating concern.
What dreams, wishes, ambitions do you have for the future?
Our first and most important goal and ambition is to work with our customers to deliver a robotic welding system that functions to the full satisfaction of both parties. This enables our customer to grow with his production and helps to ensure its quality. That enables us to build our name and grow with our company.
What effect does the corona outbreak and the measures taken have on your organization and how do you deal with this?
Robot installations are certainly sensitive to the economic cycle and such investments are often the first to be postponed at an uncertain time. We have also noticed that. But since Valk Welding is also a major player in the supply of consumables such as welding wire, we can always spread our risks. Fortunately, the market is recovering at a rapid pace and we hope that the sale of robot installations will quickly return to the level it was before the corona crisis.
What do you think of the setup of METAVAK in combination with Welding Week powered by NIL?
A great combination. The name Welding Week is a well-known and respected name in welding technology and indicates that the exhibition pays specific attention to this market.
What expectations do you have of this edition of METAVAK in combination with Welding Week powered by NIL?
Since it is the first major fair to be held in the Netherlands before 2020, we have high expectations. We assume that many people will take this opportunity to visit a fair again.
Why is participation in METAVAK i.c.m. Welding Week powered by NIL important for your company?
In view of the fact that we have had a number of months due to the corona crisis in which sales were significantly lower than normal, all attention within our organization is now on sales and we are very much looking for new leads. We therefore hope to meet many new companies at the fair and make them enthusiastic about our company and our techniques.
