As a (Prospective) Operator, you'll be responsible for operating computer-controlled machines. You'll work in either the Tube (tube laser cutting) or Laser (plate laser cutting) departments. The difference between the departments? Basically, you'll work with different materials and different machines. In the Tube department, you'll work with steel pipes and tubes, while in the Laser department, you'll work with steel plates. As a (Prospective) Operator, you'll primarily work on and around your machine. You'll select the correct material and load the program into the computer. Now the machine can start cutting! Once the job is cut, you'll collect the cut parts so they can be delivered to the Bending or Shipping departments.
