As a Logistics Employee, you’re a key link within the company. You’ll play a role in every phase of production, including replenishing inventory, internal transport, and picking and packing orders for shipment. These tasks are divided between two departments: Incoming and Outgoing Goods.
In the Incoming Goods department, you’ll ensure that materials are unloaded with the forklift and placed on the shelves. Wow! The inventory is replenished. The AGVs (automated and self-driving forklifts) ensure the materials reach the machine. Using the EPT and the forklift, you’ll collect cut products and transport them to the Bending department or directly to Shipping.
In the Outgoing Goods department, our Shipping department, you’ll collect orders. You’ll package them neatly to ensure product quality. Look! The orders have been picked and packed and are ready for shipment. During the night shift, the orders are loaded into our own trucks so our colleagues can depart early to our customers. As a Logistics Employee, your duties include:
» Processing incoming goods with a forklift;
» Moving products from Production to Shipping with an EPT or forklift;
» Picking and packing orders for shipment;
» Registering packages with external carriers;
» Ensuring safety in Production and Shipping.
We’ll help you prepare and stay up-to-date on the role of Logistics Employee. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to develop their talents and receive training. Obtaining or renewing your forklift certificate through us? No problem! We’ll take care of it.
As a Logistics Employee, you’ll work a 3-shift system. What does that entail? Your work schedule changes every week. It rotates backwards: night, late, early.
