As a Software Engineer at Q‑Fin, you are the driving force behind innovation in high-tech mechanical engineering. You develop and test PLC, PC, and vision software for advanced robots and automation systems. You will work from the ground up on smart solutions within an Industry 4.0 context, which also focuses on the future shift to Industry 5.0—with an emphasis on collaboration between people and technology, resilience, and sustainability. You will go through the entire development process: from the brainstorming phase to go-live. In this role, you will have freedom, responsibility, and direct impact, without bureaucratic red tape. You will deliver customer-specific solutions in close collaboration with R&D & Innovation, translating customer requirements into technical, smart software features.

As a Mechatronics and/or Software Engineer (mid-level to senior), you will work in a young and small team of seven engineers on the development of Q-Fin’s deburring and finishing machines – all designed in-house. You will have room for initiative and structure, be responsible for your projects, and be able to switch quickly within short lines of communication. Knowledge of SolidWorks is an advantage.
