Repron - Kjellberg
About us
Kjellberg Finsterwalde and Repron combine welding expertise with industrial automation at Welding Week.
For more than 100 years, Kjellberg Finsterwalde has been developing technologies for industrial cutting and welding processes. Alongside plasma cutting, one of its key areas of expertise is submerged arc welding and the development of reliable, high-performance welding systems.
At Welding Week, Kjellberg Finsterwalde joins forces with Belgian system integrator Repron, bringing more than 14 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics and process integration. Repron develops and integrates complete automation solutions, combining robotics, control technology, process engineering and machine integration into one coordinated system.
Together, Kjellberg and Repron will demonstrate how modern robotics can expand the possibilities of submerged arc welding. A DOBOT robot provides automated guidance of the SAW torch, demonstrating different weld paths and showing how SAW can move beyond traditional long, straight welds.
The Kjellberg KSI 700 inverter power source and wire feed technology, combined with Repron’s robotic automation and system integration, form a coordinated solution designed for reproducible, flexible and industrially deployable welding processes.
Experience submerged arc welding reimagined – where Kjellberg welding technology meets Repron automation expertise. Flexible, automated and ready for new weld paths.
Products & services

Repron and Kjellberg present robotic submerged arc welding (SAW), guiding the welding torch precisely along complex and curved weld paths. This extends SAW beyond traditional long, straight weld seams.
Robotic submerged arc welding for accurate, reproducible weld seams, even on curved and complex weld paths.

Dobot Synchronized Welding – up to 6 external axes
New Dobot welding software synchronizes up to 6 external axes for advanced weld motion. Available autumn 2026.

Repron delivers custom solutions where standard welding automation stops. This MIG/MAG setup combines a robot with an integrated rotary table, allowing parts to be welded and rotated in a single setup.
